This weekend brought out a lot of fashion techies to SXSW, and while our very own, Liza Kindred, got to experience it first hand- I kicked back and lived vicariously through many tweets, blog posts, even Instagram photos. Here are some of the tweets and articles that made me laugh a little too loud, learn a lot more, but mostly made me wish I was there…

And while these tweets may be informative, enlightening, and laugh-out-loud worthy, nothing beats a good ol’ blog post to really keep you in the know. Here were some of my personal favorites..

A basic analysis into the world of startups and how they must attend SXSWi if they’re based anywhere other than Silicon Valley:

A hilarious, and actually reasonable approach to pitching your fashion tech startup to “Investor Sweetheart,” Ashton Kutcher:

So while I didn’t get a chance to rub elbows with Pete Cashmore and chug sip Dale’s Pale Ale with fellow fashion tech entrepreneurs, I was pleasantly pleased by the outrageous amount of insight I got from SXSWi attendees. But then again, what kind of techie would you be if you weren’t on your iPhone or iPad keeping the rest of us geeks in the mix. Needless to say, it made me want to go more and more as the tweets rolled in, and if you don’t see me at SXSW next year it’s because I’ve been recruited to join a cult. That is all.
