As we open the last of our gifts and put away the holiday decorations in preparation for the new year, we at Third Wave Fashion began to reflect on all the things that made our business prosper this year — you know, the kind of golden nuggets entrepreneurs the world over want to share with one another.

You’ve likely heard of the term “recommerce” by now; this is a business model that shows no sign of slowing down. In many fashion tech incarnations, recommerce takes the form as a social marketplace where people sell their used (but still stylish) fashions. New companies seem to launch in this space every week.
