We announced the launch of Lacquerous, the “Netflix for Nails,” just a few short weeks ago, and since that time it’s been a whirlwind! We’re deep into the fund-raising process for the company, and we wanted to share some of the amazing press that we’ve had:
Refinery 29 called the idea “Genius.”
TIME Magazine described us this way: “Think of Lacquerous as like having a friend with a foot-deep drawer or basket stuffed with dozens of bottles of the highest-quality polish.”
Teen Vogue included us in their round-up of cool subscription services.
“Move over Netflix, this is the next subscription service we’re obsessing over,” gushed Beauty High.
sheFINDS asked, “Amen to an idea that lets you try the latest polish trends, while still saving money and curbing your polish hoarding addiction. Nail polish you can rent is the next big thing in the beauty world: Are You Game?”
We did an interview at the NASDAQ, and it was viewed over 70,000 times on the Huffington Post.
The New York Times even called up to chat about Lacaquerous.
We’re very excited about what’s coming next for the company. It’s our first foray into beauty tech, and so far — so good!
