This past week, we have been in full Valentine’s Day mode here at TWF. From gift ideas, to sexy startups, to sweet treats, we are really milking the Hallmark holiday. Sticking to the Valentine’s day theme, we couldn’t help but feature our friends over at the at subscription-based startup for lingerie and underwear, Adore Me. With items priced at $39.95, easy returns and exchanges and no obligation to buy every month, it seems Adore Me is the solution to the hustle and bustle of shopping for intimates.
TWF reached out to Adore Me founder, Morgan Hermand-Waiche, to get the scoop on the sultry startup.
TWF: What inspired you to start Adore Me?
MH-W: The desire to create a new inspirational brand of women’s intimates in the US. Adore Me provides women with an affordable and personalized lingerie shopping experience. The collection is inspired by French, US, UK and Brazilian lingerie trends, with new collections presented every month.
TWF: What value does Adore Me have that makes it stand out against other fashion tech companies?
MH-W: Adore Me is the only brand that provides customers with affordable quality on a very wide range of products, from bras to bustiers, shapewear and sleepwear products. We also offer personalized advice through online chat and showroom recommendations. Finally, we are contracted with the best manufacturers, use the best laces, and hire the best photographers and models to create a fully adorable experience for our customers.
TWF: What has been the hardest obstacle for you in the process of building the company? What has been your favorite part?
MH-W: Building a team of 30 passionate individuals was the hard part. The Adore Me team is amazing and is made up of outstanding personalities — each was very hard to find — and now together, they rock!
AdoreMe is affordable, it’s sexy and it’s online. What more could you ask for out of a lingerie company? Valentine’s Day may be tomorrow, but fun, sexy underwear is appropriate no matter the occasion. Are we right, ladies?
