Less Bloggers, More Tech: The 6th Annual Fashion 2.0 Awards

Less Bloggers, More Tech: The 6th Annual Fashion 2.0 Awards

We’re glad to see that this year’s Fashion 2.0 Awards are less focused on bloggers and more focused on technology. Here’s the details about Style Coalition‘s 6th Annual Fashion 2.0 Awards.

The Fashion 2.0 Awards are the first industry-recognized distinction honoring the most innovative fashion brands for their outstanding achievements and communication strategies across a variety of digital media channels.

In years past, the event was hyper-focused on bloggers and influencers, to the point where they sometimes felt like a self-congratulatory party for the production company, whose business heavily focuses on these folks. We’re happy to see that the event is changing with the times and giving technology it’s due.

You can go here to purchase early-bird tickets for the event but The Fashion 2.0 Awards are also asking the online fashion community to contribute personally. February 2-25 the website will be open for members of Fashion 2.0 to place nominations. March 2-20 the nominees will be open for public voting. Then… (we’ll let Fashion 2.0 Awards take over from here):

Winners of Best Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, E-commerce, Online Video, Online Campaign, Interactive Retail, Wearable Tech, Digital Philanthropy along with Top Innovator and Best Fashion Startup will be revealed at a black-tie ceremony on March 31, 2015 at the Merkin Concert Hall in New York City.

Head on over to the Fashion 2.0 Award website to learn more about it.
