Smithers Apex WEAR Conference 2016 is three full days of programming including interactive workshops, tours and visits to companies on the cutting edge, and commercial, technical and engaging presentations from the best and brightest in the smart fabrics, wearable technology, health tech and consumer experience fields. The Agenda will feature multiple keynote presentations, tours, workshops, more than 10 plenary sessions and over 30 presentations in six tracks over 2 days, all related to the business of smart fabrics, wearable technology, and consumer experience.
The six tracks of the conference will be: smart fabrics, wearable technology, consumer experience, smart clothing supply chain dynamics, enabling wearables through tech development, and the business of wearables. To name just a few of the speakers that will be included: Francesca Rosella of CuteCircuit, Yasmine Mustafa of ROAR for Good, Dr. Amanda J. Parkes of Manufacture NY, Christian Dalsgaard of Ohmatex, and our founder Liza Kindred.
WEAR 2016 will consist of a few notable Fireside Chats: Google & Levi Strauss Project Jacquard as well as a Women in Wearables. Those attending the conference will have the option of attending a number of tours such as the #techstyle fashion tech exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston.
