We Launched a Company From the Ground Up: Lacquerous

We helped take this company from idea to launch in just a few short months. (It’s like a Rent the Runway for high end nail polish.) We rolled deep with this client, doing the wireframing and development ourselves (we built it on Django). We helped kick-start this company, have managed all business processes, and have been working closely with them on social media, PR, and marketing. Lacquerous has been featured in Refinery29, Glamour, Time STYLE, SheFinds, and many more.

We Clarified Their Business Model and Redefined Their Pitch Deck: The Style Club

This up-and-coming teen-targeted fashion platform came to us with a great idea. Their model is unique; to provide capsule collections by the hottest designers and brands at affordable prices. They hired us for business practices consulting–refining their pitch deck, strategizing potential business models, launching a PR strategy, and more. We continue to be their advisors and work to grow The Style Club brand, including landing the founder this charming press profile in Fast Company and a fun piece on FashionIndie.

We Produced Their Fashion Show + Launch Party, and Created Their Social Media Strategy on Multiple Platforms: emploi New York

Emploi New York came to us with beautiful dresses, lots of ambition, and the will to start kicking ass with their online store. Our first order of business was to throw their launch party, hosted by NYC “it” nightclub, Le Baron. This was the perfect venue for the French-inspired line; the brand is all about a gorgeous and powerful women wanting to look her best from the board room straight into the evening. We fully produced and styled the show, which was featured the next day by Guest of a Guest. We also invited bloggers, and had some lovely write ups from them as well – check a couple out here and here.

Emploi New York also came to us knowing that they needed to step up their social media game. We produced a custom social media strategy document: defining the voice, setting goals for all major platforms, and recommending the best tools for the job. We can’t wait to see them implement the plan.

We Built a Website, Tweaked an Algorithm & Shaped Business Strategies: Love That Fit

This client came to us in need of a tech overhaul. We decided to roll up our sleeves and get to work! We built the client a working prototype and tweaked her existing fitting algorithm. She needed more bodies to measure, so we threw her a “fit event” complete with cocktails and measuring tapes. We’ve been working closely with her on business strategies, funding plans, and brand partnerships.

We Launched All Social Media Platforms and Created + Managed an Intern Program: Get Stylin’

This client came to us with a traditional website built out, but needed a mobile app to take their idea to where their potential customers are. With our in-depth knowledge of Drupal (their CMS), we helped them write an RFP, interview development shops, and select the best fit for their needs. Because of the saturation in the outfit-sharing niche, we also created a comprehensive competitive analysis to help the founders position the company correctly. We spent several months doing high-end strategic consulting with the founders, and have been running their internship program for them for several semesters.

We Made Strategic Investor Intros & Executed Unique Sponsorships: Combat Gent

This client came to us with a good customer base and solid revenue, but wanted even more. We’ve helped match them up with the right bloggers from our network to fit their unique editorial voice, brokered event sponsorships to get them in front of the right people, and made investor introductions. We’re gearing up for a press and PR push about their new features as well!

We Were Their NY Office: Notorious

The very smart and talented founders of this soon-to-be-launched mobile app came to us from Spain on a mission to take NYC by storm. Their contacts here were rather limited, so we came on and took them under our wing. We introduced them to advisors, bloggers, investors, and power-players in the fashion/tech space. We also co-hosted a blogger holiday party on their behalf to spread the word on Notorious, as they’re gearing up for launch in January 2013.

We Threw a Hell of a Party: “The Buddha Walks into a Bar” Official Launch Party

We love throwing our own events, so when our friend + author of “The Buddha Walks into a Bar” asked us to help him throw an official launch party we, of course, said yes! The results were magical. A perfect combination of stylish and Buddhism-loving beautiful people congregated at the East Village bar, The Blind Barber, to celebrate Lodro’s talents. Our client, Combat Gent, sponsored the party, supplying guests with custom-made “Buddha Bowties.” Check out the gallery on Guest of a Guest. Not to mention our back room “photo booth” was a huge success as too, giving the party a fun, free-spirited ambiance.
